Erfurt University of Applied Sciences
Altonaer Straße 25
Although only founded on 1st October 1991, the University of Applied Sciences Erfurt follows long-established traditions of training engineers in the city. With around 1000 new students annually and approx. 4500 students (in the winter semester 2007/2008), the University of Applied Sciences Erfurt (FH Erfurt), one of two universities in the state capital, is a highly attended university in Thuringia. It stands out for its broadly based interdisciplinary range of courses in twelve branches of study including the Faculty of Landscape Architecture, Horticulture and Forestry (https://www.fh-erfurt.de/lgf/en/portrait/).
The Campus is located close to the centre and the main station (Hbf) of Erfurt. It can be reached by tram or by walking. Since there are only few parking areas around the campus, we indeed suggest choosing public transport (by tram) or walking (20 minutes from the main station or 10 minutes from the city centre).
